AMD is offering up a new Uncharted game bundle for Ryzen 5000 purchases only. We suspect AMD wants to reduce Ryzen 5000 supply to (eventually) improve Ryzen 7000 sales.

Rather have a price cut

There is a price cut on the 5700x (199USD) - I bought one yesterday to retire my 2700.

Ah yes, "added value" items, where tech sites get to claim that a $400 processor (like the 5900X) is actually $$350 and therefore better than Intel!

It isn't with all of the 5000x series - I didn't get the game bundle, but I did get a price drop. If I kick in my cash back rewards, it was less than $140 (which is what I paid for the 2700 back in 2019.).
