AMD Only RAM?

The supplier said it's an AMD Chipset only RAM... Is there such thing?!

AMD uses the same std as Intel so I believe he is wrong.

And I used that exact memory on a Intel system just fine. There are DDR standards and they are a cross the board, therefore over 99% of all ddr3 ram will work in any DDR3 board.
