AMD or Intel for Canadian $1000 build

I am trying to get the max for my money.I play World of Tanks and stratery/1st person shooters.I would like the most fps.

Intel. Unless your on a tight budget go for Intel. More expensive but more energy efficient. AMD is also a good choice. Since your demands aren't that much you probably wont need a i7 5280k. An i5 3570k should be find for 4-5 years you'll be able today's modern games with a good graphics card
