amd or intel

Hello, I recently had some hardware fail on me and am looking to upgrade but just can't decide. My local Fry's electronics has the i7 2700k for only $195 and a sabertooth z77 for only $150 but I'm used to amd and like it and with the new consoles being 8core and bf4 being supposedly optimized for amd would the 8350 do anything for me? Not sure what mobo I'd get with it. Either way itd be paired with a sapphire 7950.

Good price on the 2700K, much better than an 8350, even though older, it's 4 cores and Hyper threading, even with the age (and many will be yelling about how old it is) it's lower end 2600K will also outperform an 8350 and the even lower i5 2500K is about on par with the 8350, i.e. CPUBOSS.com rated them heads up as the the 8350 a score of 8.3 vs the 2700K at a 8.7
