AMD or Intel?

Hello, im building a gaming pc for a budget of £300. i have been told lots of diffrent thing about AMD and Intel but im not sure who to go with. I have a build with a intel pentium g400 and a gtx 1050 and i was wundering if i could get anything with the same preformace from AMD?

Do you have OS? win10 is still OK to run trial now but no guarantee when they will stop it and you have to buy.

you already own the psu?
4gb ram too small
g4400 is way worse than g4560
5400 rpm hdd is too slow

with older mb you have to check the cpu guild make sure the mb supports it and see if the stock bios will post with it. some mb if there older stock wont post with newer cpu intill there bios are updated to do that you need the vendor to do it or have someone with an older cpu to post the mb. 5400 vs 7200 rpm hard drive in real life is a few more seconds of screen load with any games. if you can try add another 4g of ram as soon as you can.
