AMD or NVidia for a top-of-the-line GPU?

I am looking at both the 7990 and the 780 for a new build but which should I go with and why?

Don't be a wimp! Quad fire some Titans! lol, but honestly i'd go with Nvidia on this one. 780 is a fantastic card with known good drivers. get the Ti model if you want, but the 780 is powerful enough as is...

I always recommend a single Best card over 2 lesser cards. Buy the best one for the time being, then when prices drop you can Xfire of SLI

Go for a GTX 780 , its a great card at a decent price for its performance , runs cool and quiet and overclocks well compared to the 280/280X
