I have installed AMD OverDrive to over clock my pc but as soon as it installed I kept getting blue screen (I am only 13 I really need help fixing this problem ) I have tried general blue screen fixes but none of them work

Solution

Have you made any changes to BIOS settings through BIOS screens? Just to be sure, reset CMOS by shorting the RESET CMOS pins on your motherboard. You turn the computer off and disconnect power, short the pins together with a screwdriver for 30 seconds or so then reassemble. The location of the pins should be shown in your motherboard manual.

The bad thing is, the recovery environment supposedly very safe so if you can't get into it then you may have to re-install Windows. You could try to do a repair install using an in-place upgrade. The procedure is a bit complicated for a beginner but is spelled out here...

which motherboard and processor do you have?

Here are the general specs of my PC
Processor & Memory:
AMD Ryzen 7 1700 Processor at 3.0GHz
16GB DDR4 (2-DIMM) 2666MHz RAM

Drives:
1TB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive
DVD-Writer

Operating System:
Windows 10

Graphics & Video:
4GB AMD Radeon RX 550 Graphics

Please uninstall Overdrive.

Overdrive was an overclocking utility for older AMD processors. Ryzen processors (like yours) use the RyzenMaster utility.

If you can't get to the desktop you may need to let the system fail to start up a couple times and it will go into recovery screens. Go into Safe Mode and do the uninstall from there.

But I can’t go into safe mode it just brings me back to recovery menu

Safe Mode is one of the choices in the recovery menu.

Try this for guidance:
