So I am using AMD Overdrive to overclock my Phenom II x6. I'm not a genius when it comes to overclocking, honestly I don't know the first thing about it. But I watched a YouTube video or two and I raised the clock speed. I'm not sure if this is safe for my CPU. Here are some of the things Overdrive is telling me.
CPU Core Speeds- around 3.2 GHz
Voltage for CPU- 1.2500
Also can someone give me a quick tutorial on how to overclock memory using Overdrive.
One more thing, some of you may be asking why am I not using BIOS. Well that is because I previously had Windows 7 installed and then I upgraded to Windows 8. Now I have done tons of research and made countless phone calls and cannot find a way into BIOS. So Overdrive is the next best thing to BIOS for overclocking, if you guys have a different program in mind that I should be using, I'm all ears. Thank You.
