AMD Overdrive Reporting Error

So I bit the bullet and got a Phenom 9950 125 watt BE last week. I have been playing with the overclocking a bit and at 32xxmhz i was able to hit 15.2+K on 3dmark06. Because of the heat I backed it down to 3.0ghz. This puppy does run on the hot side. Yesterday I downloaded AMD's Overdrive utility and was very surprised at it's reporting of the system freq. Any best guesses as to why it's doing this. Other than the utility might be screwed up?

The mb is a M3A32MVD-Deluxe-WIFI with most current bios.

Not sure but more than likely your core is not fully supported by Overdrive yet. Just make sure to keep an eye on temps

If you downloaded the latest 2.1.5 its full of bugs, version 2.1.4 worked better for me. The new one didn't even report any voltages on my board while the previous version worked fine. All versions have some faults. After Catylist 8.11 came out I lost all redings from the video cards. Program still needs a lot of work.

Yep 2.1.5, Just buggy software then, I figured as much. I just manually backed down the vcore a bit it was on auto at 1.28 and I lowered it to 1.237 and it booted fine and reads about 2C cooler. Thanks for the replys
