AMD overdrive's Quick setup grayed out.

So I downloaded AMD overdrive and some controls are grayed out and unchangeable one in specific is the Quick Setup in the preferences. when I click the drop down and press quick setup I can't change the sliding bar to a higher performance, its all grayed out and stuck on default. I am using the latest version of AMD overdrive (version 4.3.1.0690). I tried overclocking with my bios settings but there are no options in the bios that are even remotely close to overclocking.

Im using windows 8.1
AMD A6 Elite accelerated processor (2.9Ghz - 3.5Ghz) with Radeon HD 8450G Graphics

Doesn't sound like your motherboard suppourts over clocking so you can't

amd overdrive has to be enabled. did you say yes to the precautionary statement ( put a check in the box )??.......... it's in the CCC.

I can't find anything in the CCC where would I find where I can enable AMD overdrive?

Your processor is not unlocked. So it doesnt support overclocking. I have an A10-5750M processor and it too doesnt support overclocking. So the maximum u can reach is 3.5GHz. Same as mine. I reached 3.5GHz on mine by just allowing Turbo Boost to take over by just setting every other thing on the comp to high performance.
