[SOLVED] AMD pc becomes dead

I have msi a320m vd/s with amd ryzen 2200g, 16 gb ram.

The pc suddenly stopped powering on. a week ago. I removed power cord and pressed power switch for 30 sec and plugged in, it started again. Then again, it happened. This time I checked smps and checked it separately, it was working by sorting green and black cable.

Thereafter I removed the board anticipating dust could be a problem. The PC started again but later refused to power on again. Is it a board problem or some peripheral device causing the the board to hold charge not sure what's happening. Any suggestions would be helpful

Just because it works, when shorting the leads, doesn't mean the PSU is good. What is the make/model of said PSU?

That sounds like a PSU problem to me.

If your PC can't power on, it means you have issues with your power supply. I doubt it's your motherboard or any of your peripheral devices.

Yeah you are right @logainofhades it's Antec 450
