Hi does SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 and CROSSHAIR V FORMULA-Z support AMD RAM?? I want to use FX9590 if it works withAMD Radeon™ R9 Gamer Series–16GB (2x8GB)
DDR3 2133 MHz CL10 Memory Kit or AMD Radeon™ R9 Gamer Series–16GB (4x4GB)
DDR3 2133 MHz CL10 Memory Kit or 2X AMD Radeon™ R9 Gamer Series–16GB (2x8GB)
DDR3 2133 MHz CL10 Memory Kit

Solution
Most boards whether AMD or Intel based work with 240 pin DIMM so your pretty much good to go with 1.5 v.
As far as amount goes, 2x4GB is normal, however 4x4GB or 16GB total is no worries either, which you will have with 2 kits. As long as the kits have same specs you'll be fine. Short answer: yes it works!

That specific ram isn't on the Approved Memory list, but that list is always incomplete. For RAM i have found MOST DDR3 is going to work with the latest motherboards out there, so long as the motherboard supports 2133Mhz in this case.

Chapter 1: Product introduction
Chapter 1
Memory configurations
You may install 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB ECC, non-ECC and unbuffered DDR3
DIMMs into the DIMM sockets.

4 x DIMM, max. 32GB, DDR3 1866 / 1600 / 1333 / 1066 MHz, ECC,
non-ECC, un-buffered memory

This is for both motherboards, so yes you can go 2 x 2 x 8 GB

I particularly like the formula better than the sabertooth, more gaming functions and programs in there. The sabertooth is more about the tough armour and being cool. I would go with the formula.

The formula will have things like Gamefirst for LAN packet routing, Better audio sound, ect as it is tailored for gaming.
