AMD phenom 2 X2 560 black edition processor

I have AMD phenom 2 X2 560 black edition processor..

As i saw on startup once that by pressing 4 i can unlock cores.. So i pressed it.. It got reeboted and now i am seeing that the processor name in changed in properties as phenom 2 X4 B60... But my pc is now hanging a much.. Any solutions.. I want to revert back...

There should be a option in your bios to enable/disable core unlock.

There should be a option in your bios to enable/disable core unlock.

I saw a video on core unlock of my processor...
But while unlocking it my bios was little different... But I saw the core unlock option in my bios... But when I set my core enable to manual I could see 6 cores maximum... So i enable all of them...
And when I saw on cpu z it showed 4 cores...
But its fine... Pc is running good...

I have a doubt...
As i have unlocked cores is it necessary to enable boy my cabinet dans? As till now my one cabinet fan is off..
Is it dangerous.?

There are only 4 cores present on that chip, some can be unlocked to 6 but not your current one. Check your temperatures at idle and load - Load temps should not exceed 55*

Add a little Vcore voltage and CPU/NB voltage and see if it stabilizes it

See this .. i am not able to see any core temp from any of the software..

You could check the BIOS's HW monitoring section for temps
