nope, i think the phenom works great all the way to gtx960/radeon270 performance levels. even at those levels you can then increase detail levels instead of resolution and it "bypasses" the bottleneck somewhat... besides, you can always get a big cooler and overclock it. you'd get performance on the same levels as fx6300 easily.

Oh dear god! I typed my CPU wrong! Really sorry, my bad :c My CPU is a AMD Ph. II X4 955, 3,2GHz, not 965! Really sorry! Could you tell me now hahah xd i can see there is diff. about them ._.
you shouldn't have a bottleneck. in a worse case scenario like bf4 multiplayer you might have a 5-10% fps loss compared to a modern sandy bridge or later i5, but its negligible. if you are content with the performance your getting in games then continue to run out that x4 955 until you can afford the next gen intel/amd processors soon to come.
