[SOLVED] AMD Phenom II X4 965 + GTX 1650/1660

Hey guys!
I would like to know if my Phenom II X4 965 would be ok with either a 1650 or 1660, my doubt is in terms of loosing performance due to older CPU with newer GPU.
I tought about a 1060 but currently none is availiable on The component shops here.

The old Phenom II will bottleneck with the 1660. I would still take the 1650. In fact, I would go for the 1650 Super and live with some bottleneck, because the severity will depend on the game, your settings, and a few other things.

I would agree with Clutch. The one exception in which it would make sense to get the 1660 is if you'll be updating the CPU platform fairly soon.

Currently have a Zotac 1050 2gb it runs games i play, but i wanted a Lil more performance, i have The 965 at 4.0ghz rn

I've had a few 965 BEs in the past. All OC'ed. The old CPU will handle the 1650 Super fine for most gaming scenarios, but you have to accept a little CPU bottleneck now and then.
Btw, the 1650S is quite a bit stronger than the 1050 Ti. Don't underestimate it. I have one on and old Phenom II six core at the moment.
