AMD Phenom OC Problem/Question

Hey all:

Just built a system for a friend - I used the AMD Phenom II X3 710 2.6GHz with a Gigabyte board for his build. However, I can't seem to OC this chip in the BIOS or using AMD OverDrive --- why is that?

Currently running at 2.6Ghz with Core Multiplier @ 13.0x

Why can't I go to 14.0 or 14.5 with this sucker?

Only the black edition AMD cpus alow you to bump up the multiplier.
Read some overclocking guides here, and on the net on other approches.

you will have to change the base clock (standard 200MHz)
