amd phenom x2 555 black compatible with foxconn a6vmx-HELP

It has an am3(am2+) socket. The phenom x2 550 is listed as compatible on this motherboard, however i havesome offering to sell me a 555 black edition for 50 bucks, as opposed to the 550 edition online for 110 dollars.

I cannot see why this processor wouldnt work, but i really dont have the money or time to waste spending on something that isnt ocmpatible with my motherboard. Any help or advice (question)

Definitely, the 555 is a better revison (C3). Too bad foxconn's website is down so you can't check for BIOS updates.
