AMD phenom x6 1045 not compatible with GA-MA790X-UD4P?

i thought the MOBO said that it supports the CPU. when i installed the CPU, i get frequent restarts and it never even gets to windows splash screen. i upgraded the bios till F9 then still doesn't work. what gives?

You need Bios F10C for that CPU

Can i know how to flash a BIOS? i tried to installing it via desktop as installer but it wont let me.
