Hello everyone..brand new to the forum.....I am deciding to upgrade my computer..it's a 3 year old computer , HP(Windows 7) with amd phenom xii4 965 processor and it works great; However, I am deciding to upgrade my computer because I want to do video and photo editing, so I am looking at the amd phenomxii6 1090t. A couple of questions come to mind...
1. Is the 1090t the amd version of the core i5 or i7?
2. I am aware of the new AMD series out (the FX series) that is out..is it the same or better?
3. Would I need to replace anything else besides the processor?
4. If all else fails, should I build or buy a new computer?
All help is surely appreciated.
