Amd processor or i3 processor for gaming

I plan on building a lower budget gaming pc and I can't decide to get a AMD processor or a i3 processor. Which would be good for gaming? I plan on mostly playing single player games.

I'd go with a new i3-4360 if you can. They've shown to be strong performing thus far.

the two core i3 beat a lot of amd apu and there older fx line. if yu use a higher end gpu paird to the cpu. if your using the ipgpu the amd apus are better then intel in games.

I would not get an i3 4360. For $25 more you can get an i5. If you want an i3, go with an i3 4150 with an H97 pro4. Use the roughly $40 saved and put it toward the GPU. 😉
