How is the message title compared with Intel core i5 processor ?

We need more info. Which AMD quad core A6 and Intel i5 are you referring to? What is your budget range for a CPU? What do you want do to with your PC?

Referring to that chart the i5s only do marginally better. The A6 scores 3442 and the i5-2520M scores 3586 and the higher end i5-2540M scores 3827. Also keep in mind that the A6 has a much better integrated GPU than any i5. Things are a different story on the desktop side.
