AMD Question

Hi,
I am building a gaming computer for my brother. Is the AMD FX-8350 Vishera 4.0GHz good for gaming or should I go with an intel cpu?

It is a poweful cpu and excellent for gaming. paired with a decent gpu it will sustain 60+fps in almost every game out there and that is all that matters.
