amd r9 270x going to black and white screen

Hello recently I have been having problems with my graphics card... the r9 270x. After a bit of gaming randomly it goes to a black and white striped screen

and sometimes it will also go to a black and white striped screen and I am forced to restart the pc. Can someone help me with this?

It turns out that I havent updated my system in 2months... I usually have it on automatic update but i will let you guys know if this solves the problem

So i have tried to boot it in safe mode as well and this has not fixed the problem.

Every topic about a freeze to a white screen or screen with stripes or similar on the web ends up with the OP solving the issue by RMA'ing the graphics card. My suggestion is to send the R9 270X to the shop's warranty or to the manufacturer's RMA.
