AMD R9 290 reference or not?

Hello guys I'm gonna buy a AMD R9 290 but here is the question I should wait until non-reference cards come out or buy it right now? because I saw the AMD R9 290 running with the stock cooling system at 95 Celcius. What do you think?

Non reference coolers are to release by the end of this month. I would wait, if I were you. I was in the same situation as you many days ago, and I've concluded that I would get the non reference 290s.

The stock coolers are too loud and the cards run too hot, you are much better off getting a non reference card , it really is worth the wait.

That only applies to the super hyper awesome fancy titan/690/780 stock cooler

I would definitely wait for non reference cooler because the current cards are too noisy, too loud and give little room for over clocking. What will probably happen is that even if non refrence coolers run a couple degrees cooler you will get much quieter fan speeds at roughly the same performance if not better, and there is much more room for over clocks then there is on the current reference cards, even if you don't OC there are significant benefits. but as with any open air cooler you'll hav to hav good air flow in ur case. you could also buymthe acrylic accelero III and just putting that on like it was suggeseted in a review but it'll cost $80 and will require a bit of modding. Good choice with the R9 290 I'm also waiting for the non refrence coolers for it
