So recently I have been seeing a trend of games asking for an AMD r9 290. Since I have a 290x I can see games in about a year asking for a 290x . As such I decided "Maybe I should cossfire"

But what powersupply do I need. Currently I run an AMD R9 290x Club 3D RoyalAce and will hopefully run a second.

My PSU is a Corsair RM 850. Will this be enough??

Those are 300W cards each, so you'll need 600W JUST for the cards. If you are running an AMD FX CPU, that's another 125W for the CPU. Meaning you might need 725W for the biggest power drawing things in your PC. Tack on another 50W for everything else, and you are just under 800W. Your Corsair will probably handle it, but in general you want a good/quality 1kW unit for such a system.
