AMD R9 380 fans are not spinning and there's no signal on the monitor after booting.

I have a
- AMD Sapphire R9 380, new one
- ASUS P8H67 motherboard
- A 650W PSU
- Intel i3

- Ubuntu 16.04 installed

Now, the story goes like this, the computer works with my old GPU (nVidia GT630). Even though the drivers for the R9 are not installed and the fans are not spinning (well, they spin a little at the start, then nothing) I was able to access Ubuntu. After installing the drivers I could no more to access the operating system, after booting I get the ,,No signal" message on the screen, the fans are spinning a little at the beginning, then nothing and maybe they'll spin a little again but that's all. I don't know what to do know, I would like to test the GPU on another computer to see if the fans are spinning. That's my last idea...

AMD doesn't play as well with Ubuntu.

Aren't the fans supposed to spin when the card is connected to the system, regardless the OS?
