[SOLVED] AMD r9 w/ broken fan or amd r7 w/ working fan?

I've noticed that my AMD Radeon R9 380's fans do not turn on at any point of time when my PC is running. However, everything runs perfectly fine except for the on occasion gaming crash.

Would it be better to switch to my XFX AMD Radeon R7 370?

I tend to run my settings on high, when it comes to gaming, and usually see a fairly persistent 60 fps.

Order a new fan on Ebay. The model # is on the underside of the fan hub. Probably $5.
