AMD Radeon 7480D is in league with which cards/chipset?

I have an AMD APU A4-4000, with AMD Radeon 7480D integrated in it. I've really appreciated this product, but it cannot really play games which are let's say 4-6 years old, like Watch Dogs or Assassin's Creed 4. Max I think it can play Farcry 3 on low settings. I need to know which graphics chipsets are in league with this so that I do not end buying something really old as they are present in large no.s in the market here in India. Is AMD Radeon R7 240/250 a good improvement over it, or is there something else in the low end segment. I just need a card, which can play recent games at bare minimum but at decent framerate and one which can have power supply from the PCI-e slot itself, since the PSU(450W) does not have the additional pins which high end graphics card need.

The 7480D is really weak. An R7 250 or 250x would be a big improvement. There are two problems though. That A4 is a dual core, and the games you mentioned need more CPU power than that. Also, an R7 250 or 250x aren't really suitable for those kinds of games, not at 1080p at least.

So you'd need to change the types of games you expect to play or get better components.

How good is the 8650D when compared to R7 250 or others? Also, I would still have a PCI-e slot left open, so will I have a good support for upgrade?
Apologies for downvoting. Seriously, I didn't mean it. It really is a good suggestion.

I don't need to play at such high settings, just at bare minimum but decent framerate. With my CPU, and a R7, do you think I would be able to play any of the recent games at such low settings, or will an A-10 do? Do you have any other suggestion somewhere in the price range of a R7?
