AMD RADEON 7670m not performing

Hello I'm new to these forums but I've seen you have helped alot of people out so basically my problem is this my AMD Radeon 7670m is not performing as it should be for example on notebookcheck it says I should be able to play Black Ops 1 in high settings with good fps but here I am sitting on 15-25 fps on lowest settings and resolution. Any help on how to Improve performance?

Laptop specs:
Intel i5 3210m @2.5ghz
Intel HD4000 & AMD Radeon 7670m (2gb)
4gb ddr3
Windows 7 64 bit

I'm not sure what's going on but my guess is that your Intel HD Graphics is taking over the HD 7670.

I don't think so because GPU-Z shows the temp etc of the Radeon card going up whilst playing a game in high performance mode

I only just got it and I've realised my gpu is performing now it's my cpu that isn't it's getting way too hot even in idle (70c) and whilst gaming it'll go up to 90 any advice for that? (I've already got a cooling pad)

It's just a cheap £15 from local repair shop

Did you try cleaning it out and making sure it's not broken? (Like if the fan is running slower or one of the blades is broken off)

No but could that mean the graphics card could be broken

Just try cleaning out your CPU fan and the GPU fan if there is one.
