AMD Radeon 7770 GHZ edition Dual monitor

I dont know how to setup dual monitors on my GFX card, I have a connections on the card, one DVI and the other HDMI, My monitor only supports VGA though, so I purchased a DVI - VGA cable and one monitor works, but when I plug the other in via HDMI into the other slot on my card windows wont detect it.

Does Win/screen resolution show both monitors when you boot up with both on?
Does the CCC show both monitors?

I dont understand, but my guess to what you're saying is, No, Win/Screen resolution does not show the second monitor

When you rt. click on the desktop and choose screen resolution, does Win show more than one monitor. Be sure both are connected and turned on when you boot up.

If not, the swap monitors' connections at the gfx card. And again... what make/model HD 7770 do you have?

I dont know for sure what make and model I have, and I cant swap around the connections on the card because one is DVI and the other is HDMI but I switched around the connections on the monitors, and still, only the one with the DVI cable is working, the one with HDMI wont get detected on windows, I've even tried different HDMI cables, and still nothing

Does the monitor with the HDMI cable work by itself if it is the only monitor plugged in?
