I have always used Nvidia cards but I built a PC for a friend with an RX 480 in it. On my Nvidia card in the Nvidia control panel there is an option to resize the screen to fit an HDTV. It uses sliders to widen or shrink to make the edges fit to your display. Is there a similar option on the AMD side?

Don't forget that the newer RADEON RELIVE may contain features earlier drivers do not.

I haven't heard of overscan for AMD but HDTV's seem to scale properly.

*You do have to use the HDTV setup though (i.e. 1080p, not 1920x1080). I've heard of some people just using the resolution as if it was a monitor and having problems with sharpness and scaling.
