AMD Radeon display drivers won't install

I have a R9 280, and today upon turning on my computer was greeted with a 800x600 resolution display on my 1920x1080 monitor. I assumed it was a weird glitch, as computers tend to have, but it turns out my display driver wasn't working. I tried reinstalling it through both the CD and device manager with no luck. This is not a new graphics card- I've had this build for a few months now, I believe. In device manager, I also noticed "pci-e communications center" was not up to date, so I also updated the drivers for this, though I still get the "failed" install of the driver for my graphics card. Device manager tells me the problem is code 31, that windows can't load the driver. I have not changed hardware recently, and I did not change my version of windows. (It did do updates a few nights ago, though.)
If it makes a difference, my MOBO is ASRock h97m pro4 & my CPU is the i3. I'm using win7 home premium.

tl;dr My AMD display drivers suddenly won't load/install.

I'm at a total loss here 🙁 what should I do?

Working on trying the first one right now. (Just wanna create a backup beforehand.)
I'm worried it might be a hardware issue but I hope it's not- I don't think anything could've caused it recently. The cooling is good on my GPU and the fans still work, and the computer does recognise it as a device so it more likely than not not a hardware issue, but I'm worried anyway.

I registered just tu post a solution. It is hardware problem. If you cant install amd driver on any os (a
nd i tried),your motherboard is the problem. But first talk to profesionals after doing something on your own. They will do reboiling on my mb,and i hope everything will be ok. If not,i will have to buy new mb or a new laptop 😀
