amd radeon doest show in dxdiag

im using hp pavilion dv6 notebook pc, and my amd doesnt show in dxdiag, please help me ive tried to reinstalled my vga and its still not working, when i played call of duty advanced warfare the video adaptor shown "intel hd 3000" ,i have amd 7400 hd but its doesnt work and intel always work with it

windows: 8.1
ram:8gb
video adapter: intel hd 3000 and amd 7400 ( i wanna use amd 7400)
system: hp pavilion dv6

please help thx

I'm not sure about Java, but try this. Install the application GPU-Z. This application will let you see the specifications of both the GPUs.
GPU-Z
One of two things
1. The AMD GPU driver might not be installed/updated. Try uninstalling completely and install the latest driver and check it out.
2. Due to AMD Dynamic Switchable Graphics, unless you're doing something that requires a graphics card, it might not show in DXDIAG.

Try using GPU-Z to check what graphics card you have so that you could verify. GPU-Z should list both GPUs.
 


i have installed amd , but i havent installed java? is java important?
