amd radeon HD 4670 I can't get video

I hooked up this gpu to a dual core Athlon system which is in fine working order ( faik), yet the very same radeon HD467 1gb card that works fine In my Athlon x3 3.2ghz machine refuses now to be seen by my monitor as its always going to sleep as if no video is connneced ( which is the error the monitor gives me of course). Any idea what is causing this ? I have tried connecting to the regular CRT port as wellas the DVI port, and both give me no video.

Is the power supply good enough to run the card? Is the PCIe slot in the system 1.0 and the video card 2.0 or higher? A few other things may cause issues, try a BIOS update on the motherboard.
