[citation][nom]p4nz3rm4d[/nom]fake...or really cool...but y did they need to create a new series soo soon?[/citation]

Because they can. No one is forced into buying anything they put it. It's called staying ahead of the competition, and they are doing a damn good job so far.

There is a big competition. They have to deliver new products and better performance. So its normal to have a new serie. and its not so soon...

I want to see the impact on the current 5000 serie price :)

This is great for AMD. The sooner they get the 6000 series out the door, the longer they can hold the various "fastest" titles. As for me, though, I'm happy with my 5670. The 6000 series would have to be REALLY compelling to convince me to upgrade so soon.

[citation][nom]zaixionito[/nom]Holy cow! These are awesome, and ATI already wins in some things!GO ATI![/citation]
you mean AMD, ATI is dead, remember? /_\

My 5750 works great with most games, I think I'm skipping this step.

yay cheap 5000 series cards :D maybe i wouldn't mind crossfiring a few s70's if the price is right, was planning on xfiring 460's but if the price is right i'll do 5 or even 6 series cards

I'm running dual 5770's so the biggest thing I take away from this is a price drop... and potentially a 3rd 5770 for my rig :)

I've been an ATi/Radeon fan for a while.

I was forced to get GeForce 470 GTX cuz at that time everything was out of stock and my old video card broke (and EVGA won't honor the warranty, asxwipes)

Now when this comes out, the 470 GTX will be on Ebay. :)

Perhaps we should wait until benchmarks and reviews are posted?

I usually purchase cards every 2nd generation. my latest is 4870....assuming there is some decent games out there this fall...I might buy it, but not anticipating anything.
