Without knowing what PSU and PC case you have, a safe bet is small GPU that doesn't require additional power from PSU. Here, a GT 1030 is good upgrade and it's also cheap,

Though, if you have more money, you can also look towards GTX 1050,

A GTX 1650 without an external power connector will probably work the best. The HD6670 doesn't use one, either, so it's highly likely that your power supply doesn't have any PCIe connectors and is low wattage, if it's a pre-built and came with that card.

A GTX 1050 Ti, GTX 1050 or GTX 1030 are also viable upgrades, but watch out for GTX 1050 Ti cards that require external power. Some need it, some don't.

if that info helps to make a better call, thank you

While you have old Dell Studio XPS 9100 prebuilt PC, i7-960 is relatively capable CPU and GTX 1050 Ti or GTX 1650 are a good match to it. However, i have concerns of your PSU not having 6-pin PCI-E cable to power either GTX 1050 Ti or 1650, if you get the one that requires additional power. If you don't know how to pick the GTX 1050 Ti/1650 that doesn't need additional power from PSU then GTX 1050 is a safe bet since those doesn't need additional power from the PSU to operate properly.
