Hi,

So I've got this mid-range PC in my house which has an AMD Radeon HD 7750 (Sapphire 1GB), and I have noticed that the overall graphics in any game are quite low (Even at max settings), for example:

1- On Windows 7, the mouse suddenly turns into a weird looking black icon with stripes for a second (Currently using Windows 8.1 Pro.)
2- Bushes, grass and trees look really bad in most games (Really rough edges.)
3- Visible pixel edges even with maximum resolution (My screen is 1440x900) and full AA.
4- Shadows look glitchy.
5- Sudden hangings in game (For 1-3 seconds); I have done a Memtest and it showed that my RAM sticks are OK, my CPU is FX 6300 and its not overheating, I've got 8GB of RAM.

I know this card is quite old, but shouldn't it at least have better graphics since it supports DX11 and has Pixel Shader 5.0?

P.S I have the latest AMD driver and I am not willing to buy a new video card at the moment.

I've been using the Eyefinity 6 version of the HD 7750 from VisionTek for a few years now and I've been rather pleased with the performance, overall. I haven't tried to play and crazy GPU intensive games with it though. They are mostly for my REDONKULUS monitor setup. I've had one die on me already though, which sucks HARD because they are even more expensive today than when I bought them about 18 months ago. I'd say if you are using multiple monitors and playing high framerate graphics on multiple outputs, you may run into some issues, but for 2-3 monitors with HD video playing, I haven't had any issues. I sometimes keep multiple videos running in the background at once with one or both muted while doing research or something similar. Overall, I've found the 2GB DDR5 flavors of HD 7750's to be pretty solid, but definitely not high-end gaming or crypto-mining cards.

As for your cursor issue, I've seen that A LOT in my many years of using multiple monitors with multiple GPUs. I've found that tweaking the Mouse Point settings in Windows to the "Extra Large" Schema's helps out A LOT, but in the few times that didn't "fix" the "vertical dashed line" or the "stacked bricks" pointer problem on some of my monitors, there is a software called CursorFix! That has solved that issue 100% of the time (I just pick a very basic looking pointer, I don't care for all the weirdness in the "theme options" available).

I hope that helps.

It might be lack of vram. I notice you are on 900p and mention using 'full AA'. In any AAA game made in the last few years, a 1gb vram card should be run at 720p with NO AA. Top games use lots of vram for textures, higher resolutions means higher vram usage, and AA eats up even more vram. If you run the game in a way that exceeds the amount of vram the card has, you will get visual anomalies.

You can test this using MSI Afterburner. You can have it show you vram usage while you play the game. Your vram usage ideally would be slightly less than 1gb at all times. Another way to test this is to run the games at 720p and low settings with no AA. Do you still see anomalies in all your games?
