So after updating my AMD drivers, something seemed to go wrong as I encountered an issue which I had a couple months back where my computer did not recognise the AMD drivers.
Despite this, I thought I fixed the issue when I just used AMD autodetect tool to download and install the drivers.
Well, I've noticed that model seems to be showing up as AMD Radeon R9 M265X when previously I had AMD Radeon HD 8850m.
I've also been noticing a few texture problems in games I've been playing since I updated the drivers.
So basically, why did this happen and is there anyway to resolve the issue?

Interesting issue it should be noted that the R9 M265X is a re-badged HD 8850m with very few differences but anyways the reason it says R9 M265X is likely because both use the same device ID 1002-6823 which is shown on your second image. A quick google search can confirm that. The texture issue though is a whole different issue I wouldn't be sure what could cause them without seeing the issue. I could be a bug with the current driver or something else.

Thank you for the clarification, I will look further into the whole texture issue, it seemed to of fixed itself in Payday 2 but as of games like Trine for instance, the problem still exists.
