Hi,I'm in a bit of a dilemma.I wanna get a laptop and I'm stuck between two options. The first one is an A10 7300 that runs on AMD Radeon R6 2GB dedicated GPU.The other is an intel core I5 that runs on intel hd 4600 .I understand very well that neither of the GPUs is good enough for gaming but which one is better?I generally play games like Fifa,GTA and Battlefield on consoles.Which one will allow me to run the games? Not like consoles obviously

Solution
The intel won't run any games outside of reduced quality MOBAs.

The AMD is easily the better choice. Also, your AMD laptop doesn't have a dedicated GPU. It has an APU and it wouldn't make sense to put a GPU into a laptop with an APU.

However, the laptop likely has 1600mhz ram which you will need to replace with 1866mhz or 2133mhz memory if you want to get decent gaming performance out of it. 98% of laptops with an APU shave a few pennies off the manufacturers costs by putting in worthless RAM to pair with the APUs.

Going to put it out there that neither of those GPUs will play GTA V. The AMD R6 GPU should handle Battlefield 4 and FIFA 15 ok on a mix of low and medium settings.
However if you had the intel 4600 you would be stuck on lowest settings 1280x720 to get playable frame rates out of those same games.

Other cheap alternatives for cheap gaming laptop GPUs are intel HD 520*, Radeon m260/360, Nvidia 740m and 930m.
All of those will let you have a lot of fun. You might even find some older laptops cheap with what were powerful graphics for their time like 8870m and R9 m270x or R9 m275.

*intel HD 520 is only very slightly ahead of R6 7300 in some benchmarks.
