Question Amd radeon R9 280 graphics card

Guys I need help I want to know if my graphics card will work on my Lenovo IS6XM motherboard it's a amd radeon gv-r928xoc-3gd graphics or not or is there something I need to do to let it work.

R9 280 yes to the motherboard. PCIe slots means it'll slot right in there.
the power supply will be the issue with this scenario. Does the stock lenovo PSU have the proper power to run the card, does it have the power cables for the card?

AMD Gigabyte calls for a 600W unit to power that.

I have a 600w psu in there as well must I update the bios or not because it going and no display but when the graphics card in it goes on but no display what could the problem be
