AMD Radeon R9 280X for Maya

is AMD Radeon R9 280X will be okay if i use it for animation entry level purpose?

i'm a new student on animation school, about to learn maya, 3ds, after effect etc.
but i want it to be able top play games too like titanfall (no need in the highest quality)

or should i buy Quadro k600? i don't really know about this, i'm confused. haha.

The R9 280X is much better than the k6000, and you should be able to play titanfall in near top settings.

Yeah it will work good, what's your cpu? Because you will still need a half decent cpu otherwise it limits the cards performance.
