After installing a Gigabyte rx 470 graphics card, and it's drivers, my screen developed a graphical issue. The whole screens colors changed and it became pixel-y in segmented lines.

I think it's a driver problem because the screen returned to normal after disabling the drivers and restarted, and vice versa when re-enabling.

Solution
Have you tried a bios update? They have two different versions of the rx 470, depending on which you have, try the latest updates. Just be sure to check what series you have, from the looks of it they have 3 separate versions for each model depending on memory.

For the windforce edition: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=6069#dl
For the regular g1 edition: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5990#bios

If that doesn't solve it, I would try contacting gigabyte about this, they might offer for you to return it for a replacement if it persists.
Restart, go to safemode, uninstall RX driver, that will restart windows, have your RX installation disk ready, logon to windows, when logged windows will search RX drivers, usually with installation disk inside windows will use that.

Use driver removal tool, before restart, go to device manager make sure no driver set for RX.

What Mikel_4 said. But for an easier way to remove your drives and re-installing your drives, you can download "DDU" to cleanly remove your drives. Once you have downloaded and installed "DDU," boot into safemode (type Windows+R to open the run program and type in "msconfig," select "Selective Startup" w/load system services and Load startup items checked, then head into the "Boot" tab, click on "Safe Mode" and restart your PC). Once your in safe mode, run the DDU program and click the first option. It will automatically remove your drives entirely, you will then be prompted to restart your PC. You'll be back onto your normal account, that's where you can either use your installation disk, or just go onto their website and download the drives. After that, you're going to have to restart your PC, you should then be set.

But Mikel's way is also easy haha.

I used this solution with both the Radeon 470 drivers provided by Gigabyte and those provided by AMD on their website and both come up with the same problem. Thanks for the help, hopefully I can figure this out
