Question AMD Radeon settings will not open in HP Envyx360

I was trying to upgrade my Radeon RX Vega graphics on my HP Envy x360. The Windows update scan said I had the latest driver, but the Radeon website was claiming that a newer driver might be available, so I ran the automated scan on thier website to see if I could upgrade. Sure enough, there was an upgrade, so I installed it.
The new upgrade did not work, so I uninstalled it.

After rebooting, pushing the AMD Radeon settings button results in this message: "Radeon Settings and Driver versions do not match. Please try again after updating to the latest version(s)".

Updating to the latest version is what started this mess. Any other ideas?

You need to use the OEM VGA drivers from the manufacturer's website, if you are having a Laptop..It is usually recommended to install the OEM drivers, if you are facing some issues with the driver.
