Amd ram on optiplex 755

will this 4gb stick work on my optiplex 755 i know what the manual says but could that be wrong? i know the ram that will for sure work but i am trying to get as much as i can for the last $12 i have

If that is some of that "AMD Only" RAM, chances are pretty good that it will not work in an Intel board. Back in the DDR2 days, there was a difference in density that made some memory incompatible with Intel boards.

I have some sticks of that AMD Only memory for my DDR2 AMD boards. It does NOT work in my DDR2 Intel boards.

Its just RAM made by AMD . It will work perfectly fine in an intel based system [ assuming you have matched the specs required ]
