Yes, but that doesn't make much sense since the 2400G's IGP is about as fast as the GT1030.

If you don't already own the Ryzen 2400, get the 2600 instead for about the same price, then the GT1030 would make some sense since you need a discrete GPU to use that..

If you are going to upgrade, and need a new MB and RAM anyway (and you need these things for the 2400G as well) then I'd plan for at least the 2600 if at all possible, as 6 cores is the standard 'go to' for gaming (especially the newest games), whereas 4 cores now begin to struggle...

You're gonna need a new motherboard with the AM4 cpu socket. New DDR4 RAM too, since your RAM is probably DDR2/DDR3.
And I shouldn't go for the 2400g if you have a video card. This processor is actualy an Accelerated Processing Unit (APU). Wich means it has a CPU and a video chip in one single die. Going for this one would be weird indeed. Like @InvalidError said, the 2600 should be the way to go.

Yes, you must get DDR4 for all newer systems including Ryzen. Nothing is produced any more with DDR3.
