Discussion AMD releases raster comparison of upcoming 7000-series vs. 6950XT

Decent performance gains over 6950XT. I think the 7900XT is too expensive though. Of course, this slide is from AMD, so here's your cube of salt. Hopefully AMD 'rounded down' and the gains are at least this or greater.

I'm a 2k gamer, don't like big TV or monitor screens, anything that works for years at 1440p is fine by me. I'm more interested in the av1 codec and streaming on the AMD gpu, which has been kinda sore spot until now and my electricity bill. I hope things can only get better with the price to performance to power consumption ratio.

My 1440p started having an issue a year ago. The issue has steadily gotten worse and is now annoying so I'm in the process of upgrading to a 4k monitor.
Unfortunately, my desk hutch only allows a 27" or smaller monitor. A new desk will also be needed with a 32" 4k monitor.
