AMD ReLive Desktop Recording Problem

I have problem with Desktop Recording via AMD ReLive. The problem is that when I record desktop, quality is bad and the colors are weird, you can see on screenshot, on white text there are some rainbow colors, I tried to increase recording quality, reinstall driver, etc... and problem still exists. If someone knows a solution, I would be very grateful to him. Thanks in advance!

That's usually due to the Display properties of AMD Settings being set to a Pixel Format that is not right for your display. AMD Settings always sets it to RGB 4:4:4 PC Standard (Full RGB) by default, but a lot of Displays do not support full 4:4:4 color depth.

My Panasonic HDTV for instance does not support full 4:4:4, so I set it to RGB 4:4:4 Studio (Limited RGB). The result is I get far less black crush, and no colored text. Plus the lighting balance and contrast in games is much better.

Again, this is an AMD Settings adjustment, not a ReLive adjustment. Just right click on your open desktop, click on AMD Radeon Settings, then go to the Display tab and open the drop down box for Pixel Format. You'll probably want to try all formats to choose which one is best for your display. It helps if you have a decent desktop wallpaper to see the differences right away.
