AMD RX 470 custom models???

I want to upgrade my PC with AMD RX 470. Is it hard to find once out of stock when newly released? So I was planning to pre-order RX 470, but heard that custom models have better performance. Do you guys know when custom models are released and is it hard to find when released? Which one should I buy?
