AMD RX 480 Memory Clock Jumps

I have and MSI ARMOR RX480 8GB OC and I didn't have any problems but these days the graphics card just started to jump from 300 Mhz memory clock to 2000 mhz when not using the pc for 5 min and the gpu temps start to raise to 70 C.When I start to do something else like browsing it stops.
Happens only when idle.

Have you tried any thing to look for malware? Does it still happen if you are offline?

EDIT: I am thinking of cryptocurrency mining malware

I noticed this when I restored the default settings on the motherboard

I think it's a malware cause as soon as I got online the video card started doing it again.
I tried cryptocurrency mining and I think this is the case.

Just a suggestion, I would be looking for something running in the background, I don't know why else the GPU would be getting hot at idle.

Nothing intense is running in the background.

If that doesn't take care of it there may be some kind of weird problem with the card but I'm not sure.
