Discussion AMD Rx 5700 XT

I'm an AMD fanboy and I've seen great things about this card. I just don't know if it is worth at this point because of the market. If you have suggestions of places that will not price gauge the cards... I'm all ears.

I mean....the 5700XT MSRP is approx. $400 USD, though you probably won't find one for anywhere near that these days.

I prefer AMD to Nvidia also, but the 3060Ti MSRP is also $400 and outperforms the 5700XT by ~25%....

How much you're willing to pay depends on your timeline. Are you willing to wait until prices return to earth, or do you NEED this NOW.

It is one of those ASAP things. I found a few sellers for $409-450 but look shady

I'm a common sense fanboy. Right now not a single card is worth what's being asked for.
Vaccine use is starting to spread and in 2 month things will start to get better.

Remember, what you'll spend right now on 5700 XT can buy you 6800 XT later.

I got a funny feeling that these prices are going to remain borked until at least the fall of 2021.

nah it might continue towards the end of this year. then come 2022 with even worse pricing.
